Hi Claudiaanness,

It's great that you've chosen your accommodation and applied early. I'm a current student at Reading so if you've got any questions about the university or living in Greenow/Mccombie (It's where I'm currently living!) please don't hesitate to ask.

Best wishes,

Emma

Hi
I have accepted my offer for reading uni September 2020 so I’ve been researching the accommodation a lot aha.
I’m not bothered about a slightly bigger bed so I’m thinking about Greenow or McCombie. Firstly are there any differences between these two and what would you say the facilities are like?
Thank you

Hi,

There isnt any difference between the two, simply the name of the blocks, they are located next to eachother.
The facilities are great if your wanting an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom is more like a wet room, the bedroom is nice with a single bed and a long desk and book shelf above the desk, (there may of course be some differences between the rooms). The kitchen is large and open planned with a table you can sit to socialise at or do work at.

The blocks are located close to the park facilities, such as the laundrette, restaurant, bar, post area, reception and bar.

Let me know if theres anything more I can help with,
