Leeds is a Russell Group uni and a great place to study. Just wondering tho; if you're set on a career in investment banking would you think it might be better to study a little closer to London?

Leeds isn't targeted by investment banks so it will be pretty tough to get into one from there. Even if you can't get into the tier 1 unis like Oxbridge, LSE, UCL, Imperial or Warwick, you'd have a much better chance going to tier 2 unis like Nottingham, Bristol, Durham, Manchester and Edinburgh. Leeds is probably considered in the third tier with unis like Exeter, Birmingham, Queen Mary, Glasgow, etc. This is not to say you can't get in from Leeds, it's just it will be much harder as there will be a lot of people graduating in similar courses from better unis each year. For graduate recruitment, firms tend to favour extra curricular activities (e.g internships), your university name, your university course in that order.
