It's always trouble when you put the hummus in the billabong.

Reserve Our Dogs is a story about a group of men who start up a pre-order gourmet hot dog business as a diversionary tactic in their organised crimewave. Lots of the red stuff is flying about (as well as onions).

Grease is the sequel to the previous story, in which a great deal of revenge is taken, hot.

To the Bite House is a story in which the plot is secondary to its philosophical introspective eating. Cited as a key example of the literary technique of multiple focalization, the novel includes little dialogue and almost no action; most of it is written as the thoughts and observations of a family as they take most of their meals from the local take-away. The novel recalls childhood emotions and highlights adult relationships. Among the book's many tropes and themes are those of loss, subjectivity, the nature and authentic taste of ketchup and the problem of hunger.

Bring Me the Bread of Alfredo Garcia, tells the story of a Mexican despot who develops strange eating quirks, among which is an insistence on eating only the freshly-cooked fare of his favourite local baker. Woe betide those who do not facilitate his comestible fancies.

Rosemary's Layby tells the story of a determined woman who sets up a food stall in a layby on the A11 Thetford by-pass, catering to truckers on their way to and from southern channel ports from Lincolnshire and the east midlands.

The Cod, Father describes in a moving, and sometimes harrowing, tragedy how a young man steps in to help his aged and dementia-suffering parent to run his fish and chip shop when his confusion becomes too much to manage on his own and even serving an order correctly become too much.
