I've been getting into comics recently and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of their favourite stories. I really like character studies like the books of Doom, the sentry, batman prey and daredevil yellow.

I always recommend Mark Millar's stuff. Chrononauts is a personal favourite, and Space Bandits is excellent.

I liked Franco-Belgian comics as in Asterix und Lucky Luke. The oldest comic books are still very good and deserve a closer look.
