Best Way To Hide Love Bite?

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good tips to hide love bites? The funny thing is, I'm off to his parent's house for dinner tonight and it's right on the front of my neck... and in this weather, a scarf is not going to work. I've stuck a lot of foundation on all over my face and neck so it's not obvious but you can still see it and i'm worried the foundation will falter by this evening.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

If your going to wear a scarf, then wear somthing light, like a silk one, or just stick your collar up like i always do

If you play violin and viola just say it's cos of that. I used to get them all the time from practicing too much!!!

Now I get them too much because of practicing of a different kind....

My girlfriend normally just puts her hair over it, a scarf or if it's really visible, a bit of foundation/concealer.

When I worked in Tesco in sixth form, a girl I worked with came in with a massive love bite on her neck, and one of the managers made her stick a massive plaster over it... trouble was, it was one of those blue plasters which made it even more obvious!

Not that that's very helpful... but it amused me

try wearing a choker?

but if you havent got anything to hide it with, then foundation is all you can do . . . and maybe tell him to do not do it before a meal with his parents next time yea? :p:

I have to say I think they are gross and so is the term shag bite! ewww I dont understand what is so appealing about one?
I know sometimes the moment runs away with you but to physically suck on someones neck, obv the kissing was not enough?

maybe you should try and change the plans...claim to be sick or something so he has to come over and...comfort you..

ah wow...if fajitas are involved, changing plans is out of the question. you got any friends who like to wear bandanas round the neck?

Love bites are apparently clots of blood that have formed due to the pressure of the, uh, biting. Sooo to make them go down try

1. Turning a coin on it. Hold the coin against the bruise as if you were putting it in a slot machine, and slowly/gently turn it in circles. This massages the clot and sometimes works pretty well.

2. Toothpaste. No idea why but some friends have said this works.

3. Spoon in the fridge, hot water on a flannel. Rub the spoon gently on the bite for about 15 secs, then swap and rub a corner of the hot flannel on the area for the same amount of time. Keep doing this until both get back to room temp. Apparently this one works well but I haven't tried it (I generally don't bother to hide love bites as my bloke gives them to me so rarely)

Hope these help! Let me know if they work! x x

not really no... it's not a usual fashion around here... Looks like i'll just have to plaster the foundation on all day and hope I don't turn orange! LOL

I'll think of you whilst eating my fajitas... ...whilst explaining what the dodgy mark is on my neck lol
