I usually just start with the basic knowledge I know. Simple quotes and such, then as i write i expand the annotations. It really helps to memorize annotations and to have quotes which can be spread across multiple themes. I realized that some quotes tended to have similar annotations and that just saying random stuff didn't always harm.
