University of St Andrews questions

How is the university for people from the north? I've seen some unis that seem to presume stuff about people from the north/people with a northern accent so wanted to see how they are treated here.

Also, are the students supportive of gay people?

everyone is gay in st andrews tbh (exaggerating but you get me)

everyone is treated equally although it's obviously one of the most expensive parts of Scotland to live in. the only people who get made fun of are the poshos, but from my experience they are all really really nice.

demographics depend heavily on your Hall of residence and you degree subject (Andrew Melville Hall is Northerner central)
