GCSE's A Christmas Carol

So I'm revising English lit (grade 7/8/9) and I can do well in it. I've done great in Macbeth for example, but I just don't get a Christmas carol at all.
Is there a better way I could revise this book and the meaning, connotations and context with the points and everything. Every time I attempt a question for this topic my mind goes blank unless I have a prompt or a suggestion from someone/somewhere else.
I need help urgently!!!
