In terms of your A-level choices yes, chemistry and biology are the main ones they seem to be interested in.

I imagine you're wondering if your GCSEs are too low for a pharmacy course, different universities have different requirements for GCSEs and pay them varying levels of attention.

currently, on the guardian uni ranking tables, Liverpool is the top, (Its rank isn't important and doesn't need to be your main decider of uni, I just picked it as an example). On its admissions page, it says

'We require all applicants for undergraduate programmes to demonstrate a good general education, which includes acceptable levels of literacy and numeracy, normally equivalent to at least grade C at GCSE in English and Mathematics.'

Unfortunately, they haven't updated this page for the new grading system however the DofE has said that grade 4 is a 'standard pass' which from what I understand C use to be.

For now, focus on ensuring you get the predicted and final grades necessary for the courses you want to do.

Did the secondary school you attended achieve the national average for GCSEs in your year and those preceding it? Were your grades similar to your classmates? Did your parents go to uni? Did you get free school meals? Does your postcode class you as coming from an area unlikely to progress to higher education(link at bottom of page)?

These are all things that can allow you to receive a contextual offer, meaning the uni may accept lower than stated grades for entrance so even if your GCSEs don't meet their requirements (which they probably will it just depends on the uni) they may not be to bothered.
