I'm almost 30 with my own work money and car.

He shouted at me saying why am I going to the cinima at night and was being negative.

So what if I want to go in the night and come back at 12?

If you live with them, then it would be disrespectful to disregard their rules. However, you could explain that you work during the day and need to do social activities at night. It sounds like you need to sit down with your parents and establish some ground rules as it sounds like you're feeling too restricted. Or, you could move out.

At 30 they shouldn't have any rules like that.
