The Grammys are the most prestigious award show in pop music, and superstars like Nicki "Queen of Rap" Minaj, Katy "Bon Appetit" Perry, Avril "Alanis Morissette copy" Lavigne, and Icelandic songstress Bjork tried for years and still couldn't get one.

These are some lesser-known Grammy winners who have released acclaimed albums. Who's your favourite?

Grammy winner Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton

Grammy winner First Lady Michelle Obama

Grammy winner President Barack Obama

Grammy winner and Oxford graduate President Bill Clinton

Grammy winner President Jimmy Carter

Honourable mention: Grammy nominee Senator Bernie Sanders

Why aren't you voting for your favourite Grammy winner?
Because your thread is boringly disingenuous and a false comparison, since the people you object to were in the spoken word category.
Carters nominations were more to do with his age and religious beliefs. They all wrote bestselling books and the awards were for the audiobooks.
Considering its been awarded since 1959 there have been plenty of other non politicians who have won the Grammy for this category.

Right, so if I had included non-politicians on the list against the politicians, it would be a "real comparison", but putting politicians against each other on a list is a "false comparison"?

It is ridiculous to me that audio books ('Best Spoken Word Album') can win Grammies though.

What is the essence of the content - that it is written words being read out. It is a book or fully/largely non-musical speech. Even if they're read out in a mellifluous way, the Grammies should have nothing to do with it.

It's like awarding a Nobel Prize for Literature to a braille interpretation of a book. Interpretations or restating in another medium, of art, even if it's your own, isn't close in importance to the art experienced in its natural context itself.

I have to the best of my knowledge met three Grammy winners and three people who have been Prime Minister of their country. None of them are those above.
