Hi all,

just wanting to ask fellow tsrians who have been through the imt/cmt ranking process.

How many realistically would I need to rank, e.g isit likely to get my top 10 job?
ive looked through the previous programme preference on the imt website (latest being 2018 only)
(aiming Midlands and northwest region)

About me:
just above average in the ranking process. (so i stand a good chance i guess?)
not looking to apply to london (so not being overly optimistic)

Thanks!

Completely depends on where you're applying, your application and interview score, etc.

So are you applying to both Midlands and Northwest?

When I applied there was about 100 posts in the one deanery (I think). I knew my score was higher than average so only ranked like 30, got my first choice. My wife had a worse score and decided to rank all 100 - still got her first choice!

But for you... you'll have to make the judgement call.
