explain how the structure on the atomic scale (lattice and molecule) affects the physical properties on the everyday scale
what would this be?
what would this be?

It's basically asking how molecular/chemical properties (i.e structure - is it a lattice, or simple molecular compound, or does it have layers like a metal) which are obviously unobservable to the naked eye affect properties of compounds that we can observe (i.e that metals can conduct electricity, that ionic solids are brittle etc...). If you're doing GCSE apologies the detail is a bit more A-level!
