“Best friend” shut me off?
So I’ve been best friends with this guy who’s from my town and we go to nearby colleges but we’ve never met in real life.
We were really really close and talking all day long.
Then one day he asked “what do you think of us?” I said well we’re really good friends?
He said he didn’t want to be friends with me anymore and yeah.
Totally do not understand why he said that
Any advice?

He fancied you. You didn't show any indication of feeling the same so he ran away like a child.
