I’m thinking of asking my work if I could take 4-5 weeks of unpaid Holidays to visit my family as I only see them once a year. However, I’m feeling quite anxious about asking as the likely hood of them actually saying yes is pretty slim. I’m honestly unsure on what to do

Just ask your manager 4/5 weeks is a long time unlikely to get that much with most employers. But you might get like 2-3 weeks unpaid tho.

Most employers will only allow a maximum number of weeks to be taken as holiday consecutively. It can be difficult for others to cover your role for that length of time.
