Can anyone help, I failed my prelim in English I got 36% and the pass mark was 40% how do I pass the final exam in May , and also the principal teacher won’t let me do the exam

have you done past papers ??
from the prelim have you realised what section you lost the most marks in - scottish text, essay at the end or RUAE - cause then you can focus on perfecting that
ask your teacher and other teachers and your friends to help you with thing you din't understand
remember you have your folio (persuasive and creative/personal) that makes up 30% of your final mark
sorry but I don't really understand the last sentence about your mum and the principle teacher

, and where I lost the most marks was in the RUAE I passed the essay and the Scottish text I think but definitely passed the Essay I got 12/20 in the essay, I’m in S5 and I’m leaving school in may and I’m going to collage, but they want me to do English over 2 years but if I stay in school I’ll have to take subjects I hate, just to do my Nat 5 English for the third time
