Hi,

I completed my first degree in Scotland and received funding from SAAS throughout my first degree. I’m looking to apply to do a second undergraduate degree in nursing and currently live in England. I know I can have my second degree loan covered by SFE but am I entitled to a maintenance loan from SFE as I have never had one from them before? Or would that not be allowed because I have received a loan from SAAS. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there,

If you are now permanently resident in England toy can apply for funding from Student Finance England (SFE). This would be a Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loan. You will be required to complete the paper application for SFE, as we will need to request a transfer of your account from SAAS.

Thanks, Erin
