Which should carry a harsher sentence.
Which burglars, rapists and drug dealers would you prefer to have shorter sentences so that people convicted of possessing knives can serve longer?

Too few jails with too few spaces so people tend to be released early unless theyre acting egregiously behind bars.
Serving half the sentence in custody and half on probation is pretty standard.
