I’m a beginner in the gym, quite skinny, and I’m not sure which programme to start with. I found a pretty decent vid on YouTube recommending the ppl, but then others say full body. I’d personally prefer to do the ppl just because it seems more simple, and you can carry out more exercises per body part more easily. However, with full body, you’re training each body part 3-4 times per week as oppose to twice with the ppl, which is the reason I’m unsure of what to go with.

I’m also aware that after a certain amount of time your body and muscles get used to the workout so you can plateau, so I wouldn’t know where to go from there if I started with ppl? I guess I would just try another workout e.g upper/lower body split?

Does anyone have any advice ? Thanks
