Liverpool hotel digger driver imprisoned

Absolutely ridiculous. This guy was a legend. Bosses didn't bother paying him £600 in wages for Christmas, so he drove a digger through a hotel and did a bit of damage. People get away with actual crimes without being sent down. I'd buy this guy a pint. Should get a medal, not a prison sentence

Sympathise with him but driving a digger through the hotel seems a touch extreme. The managers house would have been much better.

Nah it was really serious and he is lucky that he didn't kill anyone. that said, he got close to 5.5 years, and that seems super-extreme when you put it next to some nonce sentences
