I would say a tuna pasta salad is much better than a Kebab.

Fish in batter with sweet potato puree is awesome in taste as healthy food. That can compete with many unhealthy foods.

There's nothing wrong with sugar. Being 'scared' of sugar is just a passing fad.

It certainly does matter when you have an illness where sugar directly impacts your blood sugar levels.

Having lots of it isn’t good though. Unlike vegetables

Celery and carrots dipped in a little hummus. Or even just on their own. I can eat a whole bunch of celery plain in one sitting, I love it.

Excess starchy CHO is probably more problematic for a diabetic than 'sugar'.

It is but if I have like a box of red grapes, it has the same affect on my BS if I was to eat 2 twix bars.

No it's not. I cannot believe that you are seriously consenting the consummation of sugar.

Yes, grapes are renowned as a bit of an 'issue food' for DM. Watermelon is even worse. However, a large, plain-ish baked potato is probably worse than either of those.
