NTU ID login error - You are not currently authorised

I thought I'd test my NTU ID login before the accommodation opens on Monday and I get this error after entering my password:

"You are not currently authorised to use Online Services.

Please contact [email protected] or call 0115 848 2855 for assistance and quote the following error code: 100"

Is this because the accommodation isn't open yet or do I have a problem?
Where did you find your ID and password?

You get your NTU ID emailed to you when you firm up NTU as your 1st choice. You then have to generate yourself a password.
