Year Abroad - PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics)

Im really determined to explored quite a bit of the world and was wondering if anyone knew what Uni's PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) course offered the choice to have a year abroad (without a foreign language!!)
I am particuarly interested in studying in the USA because i would love to learn about politics over there!

Thanks

Year out schemes are different for each uni department. However the common schemes are ERASMUS that works in europe and hence would involve a foreign language.

The year abroad with ERASMUS does require a foreign language but at York they give you the option to do a year abroad (your second year) in america or canada as part of your course. This doesn't (obviously) require a foreign language! It is a programme open to the whole uni not just ppe students but ppe students often make a large proportion of the students choosing to partake in this scheme.
Hope this helps!

And you might to think about whatever you really want to apply for both PPE and EPAIS: I suspect Warwick will give you the same answer for both.

It is not certain but I think it likely. i.e. for both courses you will have supplied the same PS and the same academic record. They are similar courses and I suspect applications are assessed on similar basises.

Do you know what the "home" department is for each of the courses? If they are the same for both PPE and EPAIS that is further evidence that the criterea will be samilar.

I'm thinking of doing PPE at Warwick, Durham, York or maybe Oxford. Also Im taking French and Spanish A levels (probably going to drop one at AS level). Would I be able to do a year abroad in a French/Spanish speaking country at these unis?
