For dehydration of an alcohol like cyclohexanol do we heat under reflux?

Do we heat it under reflux or under distillation conditions? In one booklet given to me by school it says heat under reflux in the other it says distillation condition?
both are possible for dehydration of alcohols
Ah that makes sense thank you!!

I would reflux it to make the dehydration go as fast as possible, then I would distill the reaction mixture to separate the alkene (which will have a lower BP than any unreacted alcohol).
