Citizencard.... how long did it take

for anyone who has a citizencard, how long did it take for yours to arrive? its meant to take 21 days. I applied on tuesday 8th July just over 3 weeks ago and, allowing a couple of days for it to get to them, its late, only a day or two yes but did it take longer than 21 days for anyone else and if it did, were you contacted and told why?

i had one and i think i got it in something like 20 days? i know it was getting close to the maximum.

do you need it urgently? if you do you could just call them and ask them whats going on?
or if you haven't got it by next week email them, their customer service is quite good anyway.

I ordered one, I needed it to fly domestically but I did the express one so it got to me in a week. It was really good actually.

i think my one took about a month to come through , i dunno why i bothered getting one because no where accepts them anymore, i either have to take passport (fat chance) or my drivers licence :frown:

Because my passport is over 3 years out of date, it doesn't look like me, and getting a new one would cost £72

Citizencard costs £10 Much more affordable

I remember mine took absolutely ages, like three months, to come through.

Don't know why you'd want one though? Barely anywhere accepts them, even places that say they do in the window. Mine was a complete waste of money, which is why I applied for a provisional driving license with no intention of learning to drive (that is accepted everywhere) and it took 4 days to come through.

Mine took just over 2 weeks the first time and then i got one with a new photo on and it took a little over 3 weeks. be patient..it'll come soon :biggrin:

mine came in 3 days cos i applied for the urgent application, but the idiots made a mistake on my first name. ive sent them an email to which they have NOT replied to yet (its been five days). ive phoned them up about 10 times at reasonable hours during the day and all i get is a stupid answering machine woman saying that theres no one to take my call.

How long do it take for a citizcard to come a got the £30 and it's say it come in 1-2 days?? Will it defo come in 1-2days? A only getting one cause a lost my passport and need to get a new one :frown:

I had to keep updating mine and had to get my referee to call them up. Now it’s being sorted though I need it before Saturday so did yours ever come? Im in a similar boat as you. Lost my passport and now i payed £30 and praying it’ll come through sooner than later
