Hello everyone,
Joyonto here, surveying through a lot of blogs I ended up here.
So, I need help choosing a university and programs I choose for my graduation.
But I would like to Biotechnology or Microbiology as my major.
In my A Levels I've taken Biology(9700) and Chemistry(9701) as my primary subjects and English(8021) as well in AS Level.
Hope to find some answers soon.

Do you only have 2 A levels and 1 AS level? Most applicants for UK universities will have 3 full A levels.

You are likely to find it more tricky to get offers for UK unis (unless for foundation courses) with only two full A Levels, even with 2 AS Levels

You only have 2 A levels and 1 AS level (AS levels are not relevant if you have an A level in the same subject).

UK degrees require 3 A levels for entry into first year. Your only options will be degrees with a foundation year.

For first year entry onto most UK degrees you need 3 full A levels. You don’t have 3 A levels you only have 2. An AS in English (and 2 ASs in subjects you carried on to A level) is not enough. You need to look at foundation year courses or complete a 3rd A level.

You would have to look at individual institutions' websites. Some do UCAS points, but it depends on whether you meet those and whether they specify you need 3 A Levels. In short, you will be limited regarding what you can apply for. The majority of UK students do 3 A Levels or equivalent
