Are you a conditional offer student?

I've not heard anything yet.

Yep, I was a conditional offer student, but my offer became unconditional a few weeks ago. I am an international student, so results day was earlier for me.

Ah right.

Well congrats! =D

I've gotta wait till the 14th of august with the rest of the A-levelers. I'm scared. ;_;

I'm on an unconditional, as I had a gap year, and I just got allocated to Block J at Lupton ... not what I applied for but what the hell, it's what you make of it and it's all about the people really. See you all there :smile:

out of interest- where DID you all apply for?? and I'm hoping to a) get into leeds and b) get into Lupton {great location..}

i got lupton block H :smile: not what i applied for but its a lot closer to the uni then boddington
I'm still waiting for my allocation, I've chose Lupton though cos it's got everything I need.
If you've got allocated to Lupton after applying somewhere else you've landed on your feet, you're in the best located residence in Leeds

yeah it's in headingly which sounds like a really good area to be in ive also heard that lupton is where they put most of the nursing students
they usually have the nurses all together in one block ,Lupton is in the best part of Headingley to live, behind the Arndale centre where there is a supermarket, Wilkinsons, post office, some shops etc. All the pubs and nice bars/cafes are within 4 or 5 minutes walk of Lupton plus Headingley stadium is about 10 min walk away.
thats pretty good then :smile:

i like the sound of that - means i can go and watch some rugby matches :biggrin:
I'm taking German and International relations and I put proximity to the uni as my #1 priority, and facilities like practice rooms and common rooms as my second, so I dunno how they worked mine out exactly! But I'm not fussed, it looks ok, it's got lots of green space, and it's apparently not so rah-infested as the others. Yay :smile:

J-Block! I was there last year, loved it. May I ask which flat you are in?

Lupton is awesome, it's in a really great location, Headingley's really lovely (and safe), and there's everything you need there like shops and pubs etc. And the grounds are great to sit out in whenever the sun is out.

The offer says J1.25, so I'm guessing that's ... block J, floor 1 ... then is that room 25 or flat 2, room 5, or flat 25, or what? Good to hear from someone who loved it though, that's encouraging :smile:

Lupton only has 3 floors, so J1.25 means something like room 5 in flat 2 (or vice versa) and the 1 means it's on the ground floor (whereas j2 or j3 means first or 2nd floor) so yours shud be ground floor. I'm in Block E.211 so i's on the first floor, flat 1?? room 1??? hmmm lol. Lupton's gonna be ace! I can't find anyone in block E yet tho!!!!!!
