The offer says J1.25, so I'm guessing that's ... block J, floor 1 ... then is that room 25 or flat 2, room 5, or flat 25, or what? Good to hear from someone who loved it though, that's encouraging :smile:

I'm in J2.22 so according to the last post, I'll be living in the floor above you!I'll guess I'll see you around then! :smile:

Hey! I'm in Lupton block O as well! I'm an international exchange student from Canada, so I'm just there for 4 months. I don't know if they group international students together or not but I'm in O1.25 anyway. Talk to you later!

Great, I thought noone else was allocated there... I'm in O3.32, so that's two floors above you! I am an international student from Romania, so maybe they do groups us all together in one block. See you there! :smile:

Lupton is really nice, my boyfriend lived there in his first year. It's a very social place to live.

Lemme explain the room number situation. The first letter is the block you're in. The first number is the floor, the second num,ber is the flat and the last number is your room number. So J2.22 is Block J, floor 2, flat 2 and room 2.

I'm in Lupton, G2.24 though it looks like I have the block to myself from glancing through the thread..

Ahh I need to think about money and learn how to cook : / when do people generally arrive because I can't really go up until the 21st. Are people arriving before that?

This is gonna sounds really vain, but does anyone know if you get a mirror in your room at Lupton? And if so, how big are they? If not I'm gonna pick one up from Ikea so as to save my flatmates from me hogging the bathroom!

We had a long mirror in the hall of our flat and the one in the bathroom. I think we all bought our own for our rooms I'm afraid

Yup, I think so - dunno about you but my contract starts on the 17th so I think if your says the same, you can move up any time from then onwards. I'm not going til the 20th though, cause I can get a lift then :wink:

I'm thinking of applying for Lupton as first preference (then JBP?) - does anyone have pictures of the bathrooms? I've heard they're all newly renovated so they're much better than the old ones which by all accounts were fairly nasty.
ps, I'm only coming in second semester, so no I'm not getting too ahead of myself thinking about next year! :smile:

Hey fellow Luptonians! I am block H1.15. I am guessing that's all the nursing lot as that's what I am doing. I have to say I *do* hope I am in a mixed flat with some other non-nurses too but I guess you can't really pick and choose and I guess you all mix in together as it is a fairly social residence. Any other Bloch Hers here doing nursing or not doing nursing?

Im in H3.34.. im studying diagnostic radiography so not quite nursing but i will be on placements etc. was lupton your first choice? i picked so long ago i can barely remember anything ive read about it
