No, it’s just another epidemic at work and in a matter of months would peter-out.

It seems effective at killing the elderly, but this would never happen due to the ethics and moral implications.

If it was, it's proof that's he's crap. The mortality rate is shockingly low.

General flu kills half a million people annually around the world apparently. Covid-19 is looking like it has a higher death rate but so far the numbers are lower than the flu as it's not spread as much. So far it's not that successful if that's the aim. Which it's clearly not

Imagine a God creating people and then killing them... surely more like the 'devil'.

Well, virtually everyone knows that he’s [God] slow to anger. So I wouldn’t conclude just yet 😁

No. This is a virus that has appeared. Not a plague released by God. Also if God is supposedly omnibenevolent then why would he release a plague

It is a seriously inefficient method for population control.

Not really his style, he's a bit more dramatic with world wide floods and skin blistering plagues.

It is Western government's way of relieving the burden on society of the elderly and the infirm. You heard it here first.

I don't particularly believe in any kind of divine intervention, so no. You could say it's just part of the natural order of things. Nature has many ways of dealing with overpopulation, clearly having a large and densely packed population increases the risk of viruses and other diseases arising and spreading. I find it all quite humbling really, nature's way of saying to humans, "No, you aren't above me and I can still slap that hubris out of you if I want to".

If you're a Christian and believe in the bible, yes. But I'd say no as it's very ineffective thankfully.
