A cylinder of propane C3H8 contains 16.00kg of liquefied gas. Using a balanced equation, calculate the minimum mass of oxygen gas needed for complete combustion of the gas in the cylinder.
Hi,
1.Write out the balanced equation first
2.You could start by working out the moles for propane by doing mass/Mr (relative molecular mass)
3.Don't forget the molar ratio, scale your mol value up/down or it could remain the same.
4.Multiply the mole value by the Mr of Oxygen to find the final answer.

I hope this helps!
