Oh, well that changes things.

well it does really, liverpool is not like london where the bus network is subsidised to the tune of almost a billion pounds. the operators have to break even in the very least in order to keep operating the nightbuses at all. its only been a couple of years since the 86 even began operating 24/7 and its the only route in the entire city that does so.

when you take into account the massive queues and slowness of the busses mixed with the uni being a 40min walk...

well, really, it's probably best to walk. Better yet, get a bike. A crap one if you want to keep it.
