I am a year 13 A Level student got all grades 7-9. I would say the best thing to do is make flash cards, flip through them and recite them as if you're teaching a class. Walking around whilst doing this really helped me idk why I think it might have been because it kind of set a rhythm that helped to set the information in my head better?? Also do lots of mind maps cuz they help with linking ideas together in your minddddd.
can I just add that mindmaps shouldn't be neat really throw all your ideas on paper, maybe use highlighters but don't bother making it a piece of art it's such a waste of time honestly hate seeing people do it

Maths- Write down a list of topics you find difficult, revise them and do lots of practice papers. Useful websites are:

https://corbettmaths.com

https://mathsmadeeasy.co.uk/all-past-papers

https://www.onmaths.com

Science- Use a revision guide and practice qns from

https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com

RE- Watch these videos if you do the same themes (AQA)

Business- Learn all formulae, key terms, use a revision guide and practice past papers including specimen exam papers.

Hey. I’m in year 13 and during GCSE this is what I did and I received 9999988877

First off, make notes based on each topic and try condensing information to the key individual parts that you need, thus linking to my second point of always referring to the specification of that certain subject which can be easily accessible on exam board websites.

Also, after you make notes and learnt a certain topic, do a topic test on it. From that, this would show what parts you need to pay attention to. And go over again. I would suggest you to note the area you’re weak on.

Look at mark schemes. Specifically for humanity based subjects and English lit/lang. Exam boards are pretty predictable and revising previous mark schemes of exams will help you a lot.

Kinda linking to my first point, make notes as you go. GCSE with no revision resources can become difficult. So by ensuring this, you’ll already have your revision resources ready for you during exam time etc.

Past papers are keyyy. Once you’ve completed learning the content and you’ve gone over it to the point where you feel ready to do an exam. Then do so, I would suggest you do past papers nearing exam time. March/April and use the past papers the same way as I suggested you should use topic tests. Use them as a way to highlight what you need to pay attention to.

And finally, just relax. Gcse’s aren’t worth stressing over. Hope I helped in some way ☺️
