Some tracks in the Pokémon games are amazing, especially in the Mystery Dungeon spinoff. My favourites are:
Great Canyon from PMD Rescue Team
Eterna City from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum
Snowbelle City from X/Y
The Time Gear theme from PMD Explorers

Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I grew up playing those, I can’t believe they’re over a decade old now. I still listen to the music today and it makes me nostalgic and slightly teary. 😌

it's a shame what's happened to sonic over the years. back in the day he actually rivaled Mario when it came to popularity.

In fact, I actually preferred Classic Sonic to classic Mario

This might be a bit of an unpopular opinion, but:
-Sengoku Basara 3 : samurai heroes - the opening theme song as well as the soundtracks
-Dynasty warriors 3
-Witcher 3
