Oh I hope someone replies to this. I have looked at reviews on studentcrowd and I feel like the birley townhouses or cambridge is defo best for socialising but personally I do not want to share a bathroom. So, which ones are decent ensuite ones- looked at oxford court, needham court and briarfields.

I ended up applying to Cambridge. Same I didn’t want to share a bathroom, but it’s worth sharing it to get a good social life I guess? But even I heard Cambridge is the bestFor social life👌🏽

Oxford Court is the nicest as it has recently been renovated but it is quiet, Needham court is essentially the same lookswise just with 8 people per flat instead of 4, so is better for socialising. Birley is also nice however you share with 12 so kitchen can end up messy and rooms are not as nice as Oxford court or Needham. Cambridge is nowhere near as nice as the others, I wouldn't consider it as you can get the same social advantages from Needham or Birley.

Ah thanks so much needed to hear this! Read some bad reviews about mice and cockroaches in oxford and needham so was abit put off but i am reassured now as theyve been renovated! Thank you!

Hey guys, I got super confused looking at the floor plan drawing because there is this flat that is supposed to be premium en-suite but the drawing shows that the shower/bathroom is only one outside of the bedrooms, shared amongst 4 people in the flat. Is the drawing wrong? Are flats with 4 people in oxford court always en-suite? Because on the website it says that for oxford court, the premium plus bedroom (with the shared bath) is only for 2 people in one flat. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey
4 bedroom flats are premium ensuites with a shared kitchen. 2 bedroom flats are premium plus with a larger bedroom size but with a shared bathroom between two and a shared kitchen. Hope this clears things up.

Hey! Yeah I got a email like one week before the 9th march (the day of booking accomo 10am morning) so I was aware. That’s super odd that you didn’t receive an email, and wasn’t aware.

Hey I didnt get an email even after firming them, I just saw on their website that on 9th march the accomodation process could commence for you ie you can start applying. I am unsure and thinking about going private as they are all 40/43 week contracts. Cavendish is 51 weeks and apparently its fully booked?

What about Cambridge??
I’ve applied for Cambridge for the social life experience I guess? And there are a lot of rooms. Check it out.
