Oxford philosophy/theology vs ppe?

I want to do philosophy at oxford but am deciding between "ppe" and "philosophy and theology".

I'd probably enjoy the latter more because i find religion fascinating, however i am aware that a theology degree is a bit....iffy. I am hoping philosophy is respected enough that the combo wouldn't harm my employability, and that any oxford degree would seem impressive to an employer, but i am unsure.

Ppe , I've heard, is far more employable. I'm not super keen on economics, although i can apparently drop this after the first year and just continue with politics and philosophy. (Also if i choose this, is it worth doing a politics AS/A level?)

Any thoughts?

I’d go for philosophy and theology. PPE is wayyyy more competitive... so lower probability of being accepted.
At the end of the day, an Oxford degree is an Oxford degree. Do what you love and you’ll cope just fine.
