I’ve attempted making a student finance account online but the system keeps saying I already have an account.
When it comes to resetting the password, the phone number and email linked to reset the password are definitely not mine :/

Called student finance up today and they advised to fill in the paper form, yet it still asks for a customer reference number which I don’t have...

Can anyone help or has anyone had a similar experience?

The customer reference number is optional on the paper form.

I would recommend that you explain that the phone number and email that are associated with the other online account are not your on the notes section of the paper form to make sure that your account is kept separate.
