No.
I'd go back in time to give him a fake school leaving certificate, church character reference and place at art school.

What if the only way to prevent WW2 (and the deaths of millions) was killing baby Hitler?

No.
That said, I don't solely apportion blame for WW2 or the holocaust to Hitler.
I believe that nazism, racist jew hate and appeasement of both went way beyond the evil machinations of the one individual who spent 24 years as nazi party leader.

No, not because of what people usually say, that history has to happen in order for us (humans) to learn from our mistakes and NEVER commit such an atrocity.

The reason I hate this argument is because humans have a natural tendency to repeat history regardless given enough time. The reason I wouldn't is simply personal, I wouldn't have the guts to kill a baby, even if that baby is Hitler. Maybe I would steal baby Hitler and raise him myself in the hopes he doesn't turn into a murderous dictator.

I just don't want to change history in such an impactful way because it would change us today. Maybe better but maybe worse.

I don't have a problem kill baby hitler otherwise but only so long as we don't f*ck up our world.

Let's assume it doesn't impact the future so significantly (unlikely but for the sake of discussion).
I just want to know if killing baby Hitler is worth saving the lives of many.

Would you do it out of animosity/retribution towards Hitler or solely as a necessary action to save those lost lives? Or both?

Ok so killing baby hitler stops the war and the future is as good or better.

Give me a gun. The maths is easy here and I’m not that squeamish.

Hey I didn't advocate for killing babies, just terminating foetus'. But baby hitler has to go, if in this instance it stops the war and doesn't ruin the planet there are millions weighed against 1.

Yes however after winning WW1 I would diverge, immediately moving to conquer the Empire of Japan with France before invading Russia from both the west and east. I would also not share our nuclear research with the USA as we did to get the nuke first. From there I would slaughter Ghandi and occupy China to ensure it never unifies.

Thus a British-French alliance would thus maintain our imperial might.

Without taking advantage and moving to annex Russia and China more than 100 million will still die in the name of socialism.

It's a bit like the trolley problem I guess.
