Would this count as plagiarism?

Hey everyone. I am confused as to whether or not this may be plagiarism. I have access to photoshop and I have used it to create a picture for one of my uni reports (I am in first year). My close friend does not have access to such software and he needs help on making an image for his report. If I edit a picture he has sent me, would it count as plagiarism?

No I don't think so, there shouldn't be anything bad behind that.

It can't get picked up if it's his photo and you edit it.

No. This isn't really a plagiarism issue, more a copyright issue.

If your friends owns the copyright to the picture (i.e it is his image), then your editing it is absolutely fine, so long as you don't breach anyone else's copyright in the editing process (most usually by the inclusion of copyrighted material as a layer in the image).
