Enzymes and temperature

When enzymes are unable to function properly, (due to temperature changes) would this cause the organism to die? I know it would slow down metabolic processes significantly, but would this be enough to kill the organism (e.g. would other things kill it first)?

Yep enzymes getting denatured eventually leads to death of organism due to the reason you've mentioned.
What do you mean by other things tho?
