What is the best way to make flash cards and does writing flash cards out repetitively help????

Tbh I make them on quizlet then print them off double sided. Writing them repeatedly does help but it's annoying to have to do. Are these for GCSE/A-levels this year? If not, for long term retention I'd recommended googling the Leitner box system

In general, I try to write as much as I can because it helps me to remember information. Flashcards are not exceptions. The most important is to make sure that your writing is large and clear. And you can use different colors for different categories. Mix words with drawings and write any definitions with your own words (it's really important).
