Very important articles to read. The "peak" times are not accurate and are simply causing mass hysteria.

The NY Post article is labelled "Opinion". I don't know why you'd present that in a thread about information over misinformation.

It's an opinion but it says the same thing that the 3rd article says. It's just the author gives an opinion which is accurate and based on the pathology that virus and bacteria dont like sunlight, hot conditions and humidity.

Have you actually read and understood your links?

The first link, appearing in a publication with less journalistic integrity than The Onion, is contradicted by your third link.

No one knows when the virus will hit its peak. Models can be useful but they are not prophecies and many disagree with each other.

A news article that says "Coronavirus going to hit its peak and start falling sooner than you think" is unscientific and we shouldn't be taking it seriously.

Excellent This perfectly shows how the media reports on science - they pick a single study and make a news article out of it.

hotchocolate66 it's a shame you didn't pick "misinformation" for these articles because you've demonstrated it perfectly.

Tell that to the countless people suffering from it in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Philippines etc.

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but I’m an international student (from US) planning to move to the UK in September to start a postgrad program. Are there any updates on if programs will continue as normal or if they will be postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis?
