yes yes, i have. i had 4 teeth removed and braces for 18 months and now my teeth are uber straight. don't worry about it, they give you local anaesthetic, you won't feel a thing. only problem is, it numbs the whole of your mouth for about an hour afterwards so you might talk a little oddly. but it wears off and your teeth move around to fill the gaps  you'll be fiiiiine.
Indeed, awesome roots on it. Nice CRUNCH as they grind and thrust it out too, mmmm.

:s-smilie: i can't remember how long it was because i had them taken out in gcse year, but i don't remember it being that long. don't worry, honestly.

It doesn't hurt having them out, its worse having fillings. Its just the days after where you can't talk properly and feel like you never want soup again.

Im more worried about the gaps then the pain....i better stock up on the soup then going to be a painful 3 weeks.
I had this done -- the pain doesn't last long, don't worry!

Yeah, I had both of my canines removed (baby teeth) wouldn't fall out, your dentists is a professional, I'm sure they know what they're doing! The braces will close the gap, you've probably got over-crowding or a similar case to mine. Don't worry, you'll forget about it in no time. It won't hurt, they make it numb, you'll just hear a crack/crunch sound. LOL.
Yeah i had all that, wasnt bad, each tooth came out within like 20 seconds, the gap closes up pretty quickly, dont worry

My teeth arent bad but yeahs it overcrowding. How long did you have to wear a brace compared with the prediction time they told you?

I had eight teeth out lol in about year 5.

And i had a brace, the top stayed in for 18 month and the bottom for 24 month
ive had 4 teeth removed for my braces, wasnt that bad, as none of them were exposed when i spoke or smiled, my braces were meant to be in for 24 months, but got cut short to 14 months lol, and my teeth were horrendously bad, my canines didnt come through until i was 12, then they came in front of all the other teeth, looked like a sodding vampire.

Rofl. Ouch.

But, yeah. I've had those removed. The most painful part = the needle. But after that, it's alright. Took them a while to get the teeth out (for some reason or another, I had an extra root growing out've mine), and the dentist decided to keep them... evil man.

At least you will have a nice smile at the end of the process

I had 2 molars out and then got braces.

Only advice I can give:
Don't let your parents drag you into town for a McDonalds straight afterwards. You will dribble blood :p:
That was the worst part for me - didn't mind the blood or anything, but the fact I couldn't go home to change the pads like the dentist told me to annoyed me :p:
I had 4 taken out for my braces. Request a numbing gel before they give you the injection to numb your mouth. My dentist didn't use it when I was expecting him to and it hurt. Once you're numb you don't have anything to worry about, just try not to let the sounds bother you.

I had two teeth on my top jaw removed, and for a while I could hold a pencil there with my jaw closed. If I smiled widely you could see right through the side of my face!

Yes I had that  and braces for 16 months. Wasn't to bad, + now I can do tooth-paste commercials
its nothing to worry about, its a routine procedure. just make sure you don't bite on your lips while they are numb otherwise they will swell up loads! also make sure you follow the instructions the dentists give you afterwards.
