Bit blurred! Any chance of a clearer shot? So now in single person rooms. How has the course been- relaxed or treated like a recruit? Any ‘must haves’ not on kit list? Can I get away without bringing an ironing board!?

Sorry that’s the best I could do as was blurred already! No need for ironing board there’s lots in the cupboards the course has been very relaxed treated like adults. Finished today and we were all sad to leave lol... has been a brilliant week take civvie clothes as u get a lot of down time... don’t worry about the dark or kit we all

So, got my invite to the TaRC and got some JI’s for it.
Got to call on Friday afternoon to check it is still going ahead..... coronavirus!
Everything I have received so far suggests it is a 1 day course (offer of service letter included) but I don’t see how I can do the inevitable admin, attest, re-kit, med/dent, CCS/MOD 1...... all in a single day. Thoughts?

My son is hoping to rejoin the RAF. He voluntarily withdrew from Basic as he wasn't able to follow his chosen career path (he has now found out that he can). Does he have to reapply in full or is there a shorter path?

Is anyone still waiting to do the tarc course? I’m still waiting to do my medical and fitness test. My application started in Sept, I understand all this lockdown has slowed things down, but I’m losing the will to live! I’ve had no info on when things might start moving again. I’d like to know a rough idea so I can plan mine and my families life! Also some info on when the phase two at Southwick for the RAF Police May take place. The communication has been terrible!

Did anyone get promoted afterwards or all just SACs? I'm 48 and waiting, applied in March and the rejoiner cell only went back a few weeks ago.

You have to request re-entry at a higher rank. It depends on experience, so I would guess you would need to have progressed significantly whilst out of the Military.
