I have done 16 hours so far without any driving experience before hand, and my examiner said Apart from odd mirror check he thinks I’m there. I have my test booked for 10 days time, will have another 5 hours this week before test, should I wait or go for it Iv been told I should have had at least 30/40 hours, also I have done these 16 hours in 3 weeks which I think has helped a lot.

Everyone learns at different speeds. I know people who did it at your level and passed (same-ish amount of hours) so go for it if your instructor is one hundred percent. Good luck!

16 hours isn't a lot, but it's all dependent on you. I live in London, and there are quite a few routes to go over (not learn ofc, but it's useful to go over the main ones once), so couldn't imagine doing it in 16 hours, especially because I was lazy and left my theory to the last minute. But if you think you're ready, go for it
