I moved to England from Scotland to study a Msc. Because of COVID-19 my work has been called off until the 3rd of April (I work in the sport world) and I was doing my dissertation on my athlete's now since they aren't training until who knows, I can't do my dissertation.

University just said today its open but all classes will be online with assignments being moved or changed, I will find out more info tomorrow. On top of that, my family just told today me my cousin is on a ventilator and she only has days to live. I have a ticket booked to go home but part of me feels guilty for going back to Scotland.

I want to sort things out but its all out of my control. And everyone I know in England are away. My boyfriend is away with the military till the 10th of April. I feel like a mess right now

You should go home and be with your family. Makes the most sense. I have done the same but now in a dilemma about whether to move out of my houseshare so that I don't have to waste money on renting out a room just to put my things in there.
