My visa appointment for the USA embassy has been cancelled due to the coronavirus, and we have been told that all available dates are now cancelled for now. Not sure how long this will last, and I think it’s a bit of an overreaction by the embassy. I’m hoping to fly out very early June, but don’t want to book flights until I can confirm my visa. How long will this last, because I never expected all appointments to be cancelled.

Is this for camp america/work america or something?

Honestly don't be surprise if you don't get to America at all this year.

It’s for ccusa, but we have been told by ccusa it’s still going ahead as planned. I have been told by another in Australia I think having their appointment pushed to April or beyond that. No definite confirmation.
