Hi everyone, I am currently preparing for an interview for an MSc programme in the UK. One question I would love some help with is in relation to the difference between studying at level 8 vs level 9. I understand that a good foundation of knowledge on research methods is required as a level 9 research dissertation would be expected to be of a higher standard than undergraduate. I also understand that there is a higher emphasis on self directed learning. My understanding of this is that post grad students would cover topics in lectures but then be expected to dig deeper into particular topics in their own time. Is there anything I'm missing here that would be helpful to know for interview. Also I'd love to hear a brief overview of what to prepare for regarding my understanding of research.Thank you in advance!
