Hey everyone,

Just putting this list together so people can easily find university updates from official reps around what's happening at the moment.

This list isn't exhaustive but I'll keep adding to it when official university reps make new threads.

For discussion about universities going online due to coronavirus, and a bigger list of universities affected, please go here >>

UCLan Update:
" UCLan is continuously monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are in close contact with Public Health England (PHE). From Thursday 19 March teaching will be online only. Please read the latest update about what is open and what is closed on campus here: https://www.uclan.ac.uk/students/news/coronavirus.php
Information about your specific course will always come from your lecturer or school management. There are no changes to student accommodation."
Stay safe everyone.

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but I’m an international student (from US) planning to move to the UK in September to start a postgrad program. Are there any updates on if programs will continue as normal or if they will be postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis?

Check with your uni of choice.
Covid 19 is so fast moving the government is briefing every day, we cannot know fully what the situation is in September, it may be under control so uni can start or it may not. They will continue if possible. If not they may go online or may be postponed until it is safe to start. You need to be patient and keep checking with your uni or monitoring progress in the UK. In just a few weeks the status of covid 19 can rise or fall dramatically. Theres a long time between now and September.
