Dropping out and applying to a new university

Once May comes I will have finished my first year of University. However, I am wanting to drop out and apply to a different university. My current university knows that I'm leaving but when applying for a new university on UCAS, do you have to use your log in that you have previously used or do you have to register and start from scratch?

You have to start from scratch and apply as an independent applicant. Ideally, you should ask someone from your current uni (like your personal tutor, for example) if they will provide a reference for your new UCAS application.
