I think a - levels should be done by coursework / open book and be sent to the exam boards ( e.g email or an online system). That way they can be marked by examiners is the usual method so that the marking is more consistent and everyone has done the same questions.

This way uni isn’t delayed and predicted grades aren’t used.

Maybe this could do with a petition. Anyone else think this is a plausible idea ?

Whilst I agree that is fairer than simply giving people a predicted grade it would disadvantage those too ill to complete it and those with out the computer/WiFi to get support from teachers

This fails to test a lot of what A levels are about - knowledge. Not to mention subjects like maths can't work like this.
